What is worth knowing before you come

- This is not Kaunas city. Noreikiškės is in Kaunas district, about 8 km from the centre. You will want a car; by public transport allow around half an hour to the centre.
- A townhouse shares a wall. You will hear the neighbour through it – this is not a detached house.
- Two floors. Two bathrooms are convenient, but stairs are daily. With a toddler or an elderly family member, judge that in person.
- €2,200 including utilities means you do not overpay for heating in winter, and in summer the same sum looks higher than metered billing would. The sum is fixed for the whole year.
- The 400 m² garden is yours – and it needs looking after. Who mows the lawn and who clears the snow is agreed in the contract before you move in, not afterwards.
